Increasing efficiency in production.

The increasing competition, smaller lots and the constant rise of pressure on manufacturing costs require a precise evaluation of the available capacities. The manufacturing process must have an effective design and be planned at low costs. General management and those sectors that are actively involved in the production process such as the plant management, production management, process engineering, quality assurance or the technical areas require current information available at all times in order to optimize the value chain. For these reasons it is necessary to optimize cost intensive items reasonably in the production process and with the help of solutions that work in the best interests of all employees to raise competition capability, and by designing an optimal manufacturing process to enable a higher degree of capacity utilization. Transparency in business processes using PROefficient.

The manufacturing process of a product undergoes several different phases. By a precise reproduction of these phases with our software, PROeffcient, an evaluation of the weak points in the manufacturing process is possible. In order to minimize the weak points, production data must be visualized and processed. Only then is it possible to recognize problems and solve them on time. An optimal analysis leads inevitably to sucess: - reducing throughput times, - making information available at each work station - increasing productivity.

Through a transparent manufacturing, problems can be identified on time. Targeted optimizations can be performed immediately. A continued support helps employees be motivated for performance.

Manual entries are limited to a minimum in order to prevent working process interruptions. Data related to orders, lots and material, personnell times, machine running times, failure and shut-down times, setup times, cleaning times and production times as well as number of pieces - planned/actual, scrap quantity -planned/actual, station times planned/actual are entered and compared.

From the data gained, it is possible to calculate operating figures (e.g.OEE) and analytical values for determining the degree of capacity and utilization of the machines.

Company data and machine data acquisition creates transparency and enables an objective evaluation and optimization of the production and business processes. A simple adjustment of PROeffcient to the customer's individual organisation structure permits the customer to have a very flexible application.

Interface to FOSS

Even the interface to FOSS by ORDAT is already being successfully employed in many cases and can be used by default.
