FOSS-Automotive enables a number of quality functions. In addition, the open character of the ERP-system allows the diverse QA systems to be linked to the ERP system. Based on positive experiences gained, we recommend the product CASQ-it from our cooperation partner Böhme & Weihs, which has already proved to be a high perfomance extension for many customers.
FOSS posseses the following trans-sectoral functionalities within quality assurance
Management of independently selectable QA-data per part oder series/lot
Quality status for quality analysis of stock (to control material release or block for shop orders).
Quality verification for incoming stock including posting entries to quality warehouse (in general, by Skip-Lot-method or depending on parts)
Processing of returns and complaints specific information in the Acquisition sector or processing of reclaims in the Sales sector.
