OBG - ORDAT User Group Association

The OBG is an association of companies that use the ERP/PPS Software FOSS by ORDAT to plan their business processes, and within the OBG are able to interchange all aspects regarding the application of FOSS.

In 1992, FOSS users got together and formed a registered association in order to build a platform for communicating and exchanging information about an optimal employment of FOSS. Today, over 100 companies belong to the ‘ORDAT Benutzergruppe e.V.’. All of them are convinced of the tremendous advantages of this institution.

Cooperation within the OBG optimizes information exchange between the members and ORDAT. In this way all participants can contribute their own experiences and learn from experiences of others. They are able to work on an efficient, consequent practice oriented optimization and continued development of the standard software FOSS. They are also able to bring in their individual ideas, requirements and challenges and through Cost-Sharing they can reduce their own development costs.

All member companies of the OBG work together as equal partners. Because of its open structure the ORDAT Benutzergruppe e.V. is interesting to all those that intend to create and use synergies efficiently. The user’s association enables an active participation and draws you closer to the source of FOSS. Each individual company in the OBG benefits from this structure.
