FOSS-Sales

Integrated Dataflow from Offer to Returns Management

The Sales system is a complex transaction with multiple task specific components. If these components are used segregated from each other it may result in an inaccurate, postponed and blocked information flow.

For these reasons FOSS-Sales considers the total processes of the sales transaction as a standard data flow. This results in an effective processing and exact presentation of a sales transaction starting from the offer processing up to invoicing and returns processing. The modular structure of FOSS-Sales enables an exact adjustment to the individual internal company organization.

FOSS-Sales is an integral component of the complete FOSS system: data elements such as customer addresses in specific, terms of payment, currencies and languages required for other components like Purchase Processing or Financial Accounting, are integrated into the whole FOSS system in such a way that other system components are able to access the same data. This also applies to the basic data added within FOSS-Sales to relevant files such as the sales parts master or the customer master.

As a matter of course, extensive and convenient modules are available for transaction oriented support of all tasks within a sales department, starting from offer processing, order confirmation, blanket contract maintenance, released order management up to packing slip and delivery slip processing as well as invoicing. A variable commission calculation, returns management, a convenient statistics generator and a sales planning system complement the function's offer.

Despite the fact that FOSS-Sales is an integral component of the complete system FOSS, it can also be installed as an independently operating program component. The only prerequisite is the defining of system specific and company specific parameters and of the general master data.
