The PowerUpdate July 2022 is through! As part of the ORDAT release philosophy, our customers receive new, integrated features and modules for their ERP system ORDAT.ERP (formerly FOSS) twice a year. We show you what has changed with the last update, which functions have been added – and give you an outlook on what we are currently working on and what will be coming soon.
Renaming & Rebranding
Our latest PowerUpdate starts a little more fundamentally, that is to say: with its name. We thought, let's just call the product by its name: FOSS becomes ORDAT.ERP. This way, we sharpen our product brand and distinguish it clearly from the free open source sector (also »FOSS«). In addition, we have also modernized the system’s look and made individual applications even more user-friendly!
ORDAT.ERP dms – Secure Document Management
Starting October 2022, ORDAT.ERP dms for integrated document control will be included in the system, enabling audit-proof document storage. With automated workflows, documents can be captured, processed and archived in a highly efficient and audit-proof manner.
Payroll
Our payroll release in August 2022 includes all retroactive accounting to past months because: The current tax relief act includes an energy price allowance as well as the new basic tax allowances and employee standard amounts. In addition, the increase in the minimum wage will take effect as of October 2022.
ERP Workflow Engine
The new ERP Workflow Engine saves work steps and makes business processes even more efficient: It provides fully automated support for user activities, sends mails and creates new assignments. Optionally, tasks can also be started in integrated process workflow engines such as Camunda.
ORDAT.ERP projects
Projects are now being managed clearly and transparently: From project phases and milestones to the linking of activities, documents and tasks to cost calculation, all relevant project elements can be planned and managed in a structured manner. In contrast to separate project management solutions, the ERP system’s processes (purchase orders, production orders, contracts, etc.) can be linked directly to the projects.
Open Data Protocol (ODATA)
Three mouse clicks to import data: Select the data source in Excel, click on the desired table and the ORDAT.ERP databases are yet imported.
ORDAT.ERP bi app
Whether sales, production, financial accounting or personnel time recording: With the ORDAT.ERP bi app, extensive standard reports can be generated which provide you with the optimal overview and valuable insights about your departments. All ORDAT customers have the opportunity to test and experience the BI cubes and BI apps live for 3 months. If you are interested, please contact us at 0641-79410 or at customercare @ordat.com.
ORDAT.ERP acrm
Flexible and central contact management: All activities (phone calls, correspondences, visit reports and contracts) are now flexibly and centrally linked, ensuring that you have all relevant sales objects in view at all times. Thanks to the web front-end, the entire sales team now has a unified view on all customer activities.
ORDAT.ERP outputmanagement
For all lovers of lists and reports: The ORDAT.ERP outputmanagement module enables flexible print outputs and exports data to PDF, Excel or XML formats, among others.
ORDAT.ERP Future Perspective
Our system is constantly evolving – strategically, operationally and technologically. Topics such as hazardous substance management and CO2 footprint or Outlook plug-ins for ODMS and OData interfaces and many more are on our agenda and will roll out with the next updates.
